Melissa Highton

Melissa is a Fellow of Kellogg College and Director of Academic IT Services and Head of the Learning Technologies Group in Oxford University IT Services. She also works closely with the Learning and New Technologies Research Group in the Department of Education. She leads a number of innovative projects which develop and publish collections of open educational resources drawn from across the University. These are unique, high value assets which aim to engage and inspire. Online lectures from Oxford draw upon the latest research and are downloaded by the public in their millions. The Learning Technologies Group have developed models for educational media services which offer sustainable approaches to sourcing and managing open resources in a large and complex institution.
