Today's political and economic situation poses fundamental questions about the future of Europe. What are the political and economic questions facing the EU today? How can we promote peace and prosperity in Europe and in the world? Germany's role in the EU is becoming more important, while Britain appears increasingly detached from the European project. What roles for Britain and Germany? What prospects for European integration? On Thursday November 7th 2013, at Rhodes House (South Parks Rd, Oxford) these themes were examined by distinguished speakers from Britain, Germany and elsewhere, with discussion open to all participants.
